Facilities and Hours

Hartnell College has two Sports Medicine facilities, the Main facility which is located at Building H and the Satellite facility which is located at Building P.

The Main facility houses the H Clinic which is the primary, full-service clinic. The Satellite facility houses the P Clinic which has limited services and equipment. It is mainly open while teams are practicing at the outdoor athletic venues. Please see below for more information.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can use the sports medicine clinic?

The clinic services the following: 

  1. Student-athletes who are rostered on a sports team. They must have all their medical paperwork requirements completed in order to receive treatment and other services.
  2. Students currently enrolled in a P.E. class. They can consult with and get ice from the athletic trainers on injuries incurred while taking a P.E. class based on availability of the clinicians. The athletic trainers can also respond to emergencies that occur during P.E. classes. 

Can I use the cold whirlpool?

Yes, as long as you are a rostered student-athlete. You must be clean and bring your own towel. If you need to rinse off, you can do so in the locker rooms.

Where are the clinics located?

The Main/H Clinic is located on the bottom floor of the H building. The Satellite/P Clinic is located at the outdoor athletic fields, across from the softball field.

How can I see an athletic trainer to be evaluated for an injury or if I have a question?

You can drop in during open clinic hours or send an email to sportsmed@hartnell.edu if you have a simple question. Visit the schedules folder to view the weekly clinician and clinic schedules.

What do I need to do to complete my medical paperwork?

Please reference the Medical Clearance Info and follow the directions.

Please contact the Hartnell athletic trainers. You can stop by the H clinic for medical paperwork help or email sportsmed@hartnell.edu.
